About me...

I’m an EFL teacher in Martinique, FWI. I’m a French native speaker. I love experimenting and discovering news ways to teach, learn and share using Internet and Communication Technology. Some would say I’m a geek....

I have recently launched an Android tablet project at my school Lycée Montgérald, Le Marin, ac-martiinique, to experiment new tools, and new ways to develop the students reading, wirting and speaking skills, as well as ICT skills.

I created Absolutenglish in 2002, although this version of the site is more recent. Archives are still online here at Absolutenglish-972

I have also been the webmaster of the English site of the academy of Martinique since 2006: http://cms.ac-martinique.fr/discipline/anglais/. I am also a ICT /EFL training teacher in my academy.

I am a member of Cyber-langues http://cyber-langues.fr/, a French association promoting the use of ICT in language teaching. Every other year, I like to spend 3 days at the yearly summer meeting known as "colloque Cyber-Langues" where we work, learn, share and also have fun and meet friendly language teachers from all over the world.

I started learning how to play the guitar with YouTube in 2009, I had my first Android tablet in 2011 and I’ve also enjoyed writing stuff for Stephane Busuttil’s site Another-teacher.net for a few years nowhttp://www.another-teacher.net (site in French).

I Tweet, I Google, I Scoop, I Facebook, I Blog, I Pad...
